Stephanie Ashton
Director of Operations
Stephanie grew up on the Olympic Peninsula, moved to Bellingham in 2002 to attend Western Washington University, and immediately fell in love with Bellingham’s stunning landscape and vibrant culture. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in English (Creative Writing emphasis) she spent two years in Seattle before returning to Bellingham, her adopted hometown.
Stephanie’s career has spanned several industries including legal support, the non-profit sector, investment management, and higher education. Stephanie obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Washington University in 2020, and has taught courses on financial literacy and investing to WWU Freshman. She is passionate about food and sustainability, having previously served on the Board of Directors for the Bellingham Food Bank and currently serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Sustainable Connections. She is energetic, creative, deeply compassionate, and fun. Outside of work, Stephanie is an avid cook and enjoys literature, film, and fine art.
